Chipotle Social Media Analysis Presentation
PROJECT OVERVIEW
My presentation on Chipotle’s social media strategy across its 3 most popular platforms: Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. This assignment was for my MKT 4334 (Social Media Marketing) class. I go over how each platform is being used, the content variety, and my recommendations for social media growth.
REFLECTION
This was a pretty fun project for me since I come from a social media marketing background and have some experience managing social media accounts for local restaurants. I always enjoy looking at food videos and how other food places market themselves, so this gave me good insight into how one of the top restaurant accounts strategizes its content and drives engagement.
Each social media platform serves a unique purpose and it’s important to develop content that complements what each is used for — whether it’s news or funny tweets on Twitter or user-generated content and photo-based memes on Instagram. I enjoyed learning how a brand is able to successfully market itself through social media and was able to dive deeper into what type of content is successful on each platform. No matter how many years of experience I’ve had with managing social media, social media is constantly growing and I find myself still learning new things every day.
